Check whether the right label and cap are neatly placed on the packaging
Use a machine vision solution to check in-line whether the correct labels have been applied neatly. With several cameras it is checked whether the different labels are attached in the right place without twisting and in the middle. A dynamic inspection can also take place whereby the product ID, track-and-trace information and the use-by date are checked by means of a link with the product planning system.
Logging of the measurement data is possible with which further quality improvement can be steered. In addition, it is possible to detect the performance of the labeling machine and to prevent unscheduled downtime.
The technology developed by Vision Partners is suitable for packaging lines with a high diversity of products. The label and cap inspection works standalone and can be built into existing production lines (retrofit).
