KOLBUS
German company KOLBUS, based in Rahden, just across the border from Enschede, is a family-owned company that has been around since 1771. With around 700 employees, the company develops and produces machines for both the printing and packaging industries.
KOLBUS is the global market leader as a manufacturer of machines for the production of hardcover book covers. The machines can be used for multiple applications, such as the production of game boards, among others. Kolbus offers a wide range of machines for processing solid board sheets to manufacturing luxury packaging, among others. KOLBUS’ machines offer the ability to cut, gouge, glue, glue over, tape, fold and then process the solid board materials into beautiful (luxury) packaging. All this is possible from manual processing to a fully automated production line.
KOLBUS Autobox, based in Houghton Regis, England, is a wholly owned subsidiary of KOLBUS GmbH in Rahden. This branch of the company has been developing and manufacturing machines for the production of corrugated FEFCO boxes for more than 30 years. With the increasing demand for customised corrugated packaging, KOLBUS Autobox offers machines specifically designed to meet these needs. These include inline feeders, box makers, printers, (flexo and digital) and folding sheet machines for the production of small to medium runs of corrugated boxes.
For bulk production of corrugated boxes, KOLBUS has developed the RD115S. With a maximum production rate of 12,000 boxes per hour, this rotary punch press with up to 8 flexo printing units is Kolbus’ workhorse. The flexo printing units can print both the inside and outside of the boxes to be produced. The machine can be expanded with a rotary slotting unit and a box stacker, among other things.
As a Dutch partner of KOLBUS, we do more than just sell machines and parts. Our dedicated technicians are also responsible for servicing KOLBUS machines. Versor
Versor is a manufacturer of machines for the printing and packaging industry. Versor has over 30 years of experience in developing and manufacturing machines. These years of experience have resulted in numerous successes in both local and global markets.
Versor is located in the city of Bydgoszcz in Poland where it employs about 90 people. The factory and office buildings cover about 5,500 square metres. What makes Versor strong is the fact that they employ a large group of highly skilled engineers and that all machine parts are manufactured by Versor itself.
