Leak detection of MAP packaging
With the specific LDS700-IoT leak detection system from FT System it is possible to inspect your products in MAP packaging for leaks. These products are packaged low in oxygen, in other words: MAP packaging (Modified Atmosphere Packaging). Gases are then applied inside the packaging, so that the spoilage of food is slower than when packaging with normal air. When defects, no matter how small, are detected by this system, the product is rejected and possibly ejected.
