The Emba 295 is the flagship of Fris Karton. The capacity of the machine is hidden in the name: 295. This machine takes sheet material – corrugated cardboard of course – of up to 300 centimeters and everything happens internally so that boxes are stacked on a pallet at the back, which are punched, folded and printed. and glued. And all that at a speed that makes you sick: 30,000 boxes per hour.
We work on this machine with five people. At the front and back, a forklift driver is busy supplying and removing sheet material and end products. There are three employees at the machine to monitor progress. In principle, the EMBA 295 is computer controlled, but an extra pair of eyes are always needed. In the Preparation department they ensure that drawings are made that meet the customer’s questions. They advise customers and create the digital drawings with which we control the machine.
